Amy joined Slade & Company in 2023 with the acquisition of Suihkonen CPAs.  She began working in the tax industry in 2001 simply assembling tax returns as a seasonal employee.  This was the beginning of a 23 year career.  Having earned the California Tax Education Council (CTEC) license she now works directly with senior staff tax preparers as a tax assistant handling a variety of tasks related to the tax preparation process.  Amy grew up in Vacaville.  She enjoys volunteering with the local arts community and was a member, and eventually President, of the Board of Directors for the Vacaville Ballet Company, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, for 10 years.  She is a huge Disney fan, loves music, movies, reading and most of all traveling and spending time with her family.
